I graduated from York St Johns University in 2008 and have worked both within the NHS and private sectors. In recent years I have developed a specialist interest in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and continue to develop my skills and knowledge within this field.
I regularly undertake specialist post-graduate training, keeping up to date with current treatment techniques and research. My most recent training was based around the treatment and management of tendinopathies and the use of shockwave therapy. I have also completed courses in acupuncture (I am registered with the AACP) and levels 1 and 2 Pilates courses accredited by the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute.
My specialist areas include acupuncture, Pilates (both one to one sessions and classes), electrotherapy (including shockwave therapy), muscle imbalance, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, joint mobilisations, sports injuries, spinal and postural problems. I treat a variety of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and specialise in pre and post-operative rehabilitation following injury and orthopedic surgery.
