We know having cosmetic surgery is a big decision and there's a lot you'll want to consider...
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Prof Graeme Duthie at Spire include:
My main sub-speciality interest and research interest relates to reconstruction of the pelvic floor and the physiology of the pelvic floor after trauma. The unit runs one of the largest physiology laboratories in the UK and is one of the main sites for teaching anorectal physiology to both physiologists and medical staff. We offer a full range of reconstructive surgery including the most modern stimulated gracilis neospincters and spinal nerve stimulation, for incontinence. There is also a major interest in the treatment of constipation. My other major interest is in colonscopy and colonoscopic screening for the diagnosis of large bowel disorders. We offer not only basic diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy, but also dye-spray identification of colonic abnormalities and endo-mucousal resection of small benign and malignant tumours throughout the colon.
Colonoscopy, advanced therapeutic endoscopy (EMR), closure of loop colostomy, general colorectal surgery, haemorrhoid removal, repair of anal fistula, sigmoid colectomy for diverticular disease, coloproctology, treatment of faecal incontinence, treatment of chronic constipation, sacral nerve neuromodulation. Member of East Yorkshire Surgical Associates.
