Join us for our upcoming hip and knee pain event. Mr Nadim Aslam, Consultant Robotic Hip and Knee SMART Surgeon, is offering free mini appointments on Sunday 27 October 2024 to discuss your hip or knee concerns.

This will give you the opportunity to talk one-on-one with Mr Aslam and ask any questions you may have about potential treatment or pain management in a 10-minute consultation*.

Mr Aslam can provide you with the information on various treatments available at South Bank Hospital, including:

  1. SMART treatment options (Specialist Mako Assisted Robotic Technology)
  2. Hip replacement surgery
  3. Knee replacement surgery
  4. Knee arthroscopy for the meniscal tear
  5. Knee injection for early arthritis and diagnostic purposes
  6. Osteoarthritis
  7. Sports injuries

How do I book?

Places are limited so booking is essential. Press the 'reserve a spot' and a member of our bookings team will give you a call to book your free consultation and allocate an appointment time. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your allocated appointment to complete a form relating to your condition.

You will be offered a complementary 10-minute mini-consultation between 1.30pm and 3.00pm.

*Mini consultations are an opportunity to ask any questions or concerns you may have and are not a formal outpatient consultation. If after the event you wish to book a formal consultation, details will be given at your appointment. A formal consultation is chargeable at £250.00.

Travel instructions

From M5 motorway

Exit at junction 7 for Worcester. At the top of the slip road, take the exit onto the A44, signposted Worcester. At the roundabout take the first exit onto Crookbarrow Way – A4440 (signposted Worcester West, Malvern, Leominster). Continue straight across the roundabout on the A4440 and at the next roundabout turn right following the signs for Worcester City Centre A38. Continue straight across the next roundabout. The hospital is approximately two miles on the right.

By train

Take the train to either Worcester Shrub Hill station or Worcester Foregate Street station. Both stations are approximately 2 miles from Spire South Bank Hospital (10 minutes by taxi).

By public transport

There is a bus stop a few yards from the hospital's entrance, serviced by numbers 32, 372, 382, 582.
