Professional profile

I am a clinical specialist speech and language therapist at Spire Hartswood Hospital in Brentwood, Essex and Spire Roding Hospital in Redbridge, Essex. Working in conjunction with consultant neuroradiologist, Dr Sanjiv Chawda, I offer a videofluoroscopy service to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with swallowing problems. I graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama, London in 1994. I am currently the clinical specialist in Complex Oropharygneal Dysphagia and is the Speech and Language Therapy Team Leader of an award-winning and innovative speech and language therapy service for North East London Foundation Trust. I'm also a visiting lecturer at University College London. In addition to extensive experience in swallowing and acquired communication difficulties, I have a special interest in bilingualism for which I have presented at conferences and have published articles. I am passionate about the quality of care she gives to her patients.
