Each year women (and men dressed as women) from across Hertfordshire gather together in pink outfits, bunny ears and flashing lights to raise money for The Hospice of St Francis. Many of the teams can be seen lining the roads between Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted on their five or 11 mile round trips.
Spire Harpenden Hospital were proud to sponsor the walk for the eighth consecutive year running. Business Development Manager Nicola Dann was there to meet the teams and send the walkers on their way.
"We are delighted to sponsor the Hospice and the midnight walk event for the eighth year running,” said Nicola. “The Hospice of St Francis is a beautiful facility, which provides such meaningful and important care to patients and their families during extremely difficult times. I am delighted that we could support this very worthy charity and honoured to be invited along and see the midnight walkers looking fantastic with their flashing bunny ears. Well done to everyone taking part."
This year the pink bunny-eared walkers look to have pledged a huge £75,000.*
