Volunteer with the Spire Harpenden volunteer scheme and make a real difference to the experience of patients and visitors arriving at the hospital at a time when they need to be calm and relaxed.

Whatever your inspiration we have flexible volunteering opportunities depending on your skills, interests and how much time you are able to give.
We make sure volunteering roles here are meaningful, enhancing our services and adding value to the patient and family experience. We ensure that our volunteers are trained and supported throughout their time here to guarantee the best possible experience for both volunteer and patient.
You can do your volunteer sessions as little or as often as you like, to suit your won schedule and lifestyle. We have three sessions a day from Monday to Friday and one on a Saturday morning. We ask you to give us at least three hours a week of your time for six months or more.
