Professional profile

I qualified from the University of Kerala, India in 1997 and had extensive training in obstetrics and gynaecology before coming to UK. I started my training in UK as a senior house officer in Chase Farm Hospital and completed my higher specialist training in North East London region rotating through Homerton, Newham University and Royal London Hospitals. I have worked as Fellow in Fetal Medicine at Homerton University Hospital and have acquired further training in Maternal medicine at Newham University Hospital. I specialise in Fetal and Maternal Medicine and also lead the Diabetic antenatal services at Barnet Hospital. I am accredited in colposcopy and in gynaecology and early pregnancy scanning. I also have an interest in benign gynaecological surgery including vaginal surgery and in Minimal Access surgery. I also do out-patient hysteroscopy clinics in the community. I do specialist HyCoSy clinics for women with subfertility. I enjoy teaching and maintain a keen interest in medical education.
