Professional profile

I graduated from the University of Ibadan (1980) and came to the UK in 1997 following completion of postgraduate training in Obs & Gynae in Nigeria with a Gold Prize award. I went through the North Thames Postgraduate training rotation and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in 2004. That same year, I was appointed consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in Barnet & Chase Farm hospitals NHS Trust. I am a well-rounded gynaecologist who puts patient's interest foremost.

Personal Profile

I am also very active in clinical research with over 70 peer reviewed publications. My research interests won me the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists Harold Malkin prize in 2002 and CMERT Research award in 2003. I am an Editorial Board member, and a peer reviewer for a dozen specialty and non-specialty journals. I am a keen teacher and the Course Director of The London Perineal Surgical Skills workshop for Midwives (www.londonperinealsurgicalskills.com). I am an enthusiastic golfer with a handicap 22. I am married with three children.
