Professional profile

I am a Consultant in Clinical Oncology specialising in the treatment of Breast Cancer at Spire Harpenden Hospital and the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre with sessions at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital. I treat patients with Breast Cancer with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, endocrine therapy and biological therapies.

I graduated from Cambridge University in 1993 and was awarded an MD from the University of London in 2006 for my thesis entitled “The Vascular Effects of Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Primary Breast Cancer”. My research project led to me being awarded “Young Investigator of the Year” by the British Oncology Association in 2004 and in the same year I received a Merit Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology for my research work.

As well as my daily clinical work, I have an active role in Clinical Breast Cancer trials within the Mount Vernon Cancer Network and am the local Principle Investigator and Lead Clinician for all the Breast Cancer Research trials at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital. I am Lead Clinician for Breast Cancer Radiotherapy within the Mount Vernon Cancer Network.
