Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Anup Bagade at Spire include:
I am a consultant in Pain Management and my practice is dedicated to treating patients with various pain conditions such as: musculoskeletal pain including back pain, sciatica, neck pain, brachialgia, chronic widespread pain, various neuropathic pain conditions (nerve related pain), chronic headaches and pelvic pain.
My interventions range from pharmacotherapy (medications) to various day case procedures like epidurals, facet joint injections, radiofrequency denervation, nerve root blocks, pulsed radiofrequency, peripheral nerve blocks, external neuromodulation, sacro-Iliac joint injection and occipital nerve blocks.
I completed my specialist training from the London Deanery based at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital where I developed a good mix of clinical and interventional skills; and subsequently became a fellow of the faculty of the pain medicine.
I believe in a holistic patient-centred approach of pain management based on the best available evidence. I allow plenty of time during consultations for assessment and explaining management plans.
