Mr John Tighe is a Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Spire Gatwick Park Hospital. He qualified in dentistry in Bristol in 1986 and medicine at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London in 1995. He holds full surgical fellowships from the London Royal College of Surgeons in both dental and general surgery as well as the intercollegiate exit fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Mr Tinghe was appointed as Consultant Surgeon at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead in 2002 with a special interest in head and neck cancer surgery and is a core member of the Brighton head and neck cancer multidisciplinary team. He is currently lead clinician in his department and the hospital Clinical Director of Head and Neck Services at East Grinstead.
Mr Tighe is widely experienced in all aspects of oral surgery and has particular interests in dental implantology, head and neck surgical dermatology, management of disorders of the salivary glands and head and neck malignancy.
