I qualified from Liverpool University Medical School in 1990 and have been a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon in Hull since 2004 specialising in breast reconstruction and aesthetic surgery.

I have helped to pioneer the technique of fat transfer for breast reconstruction and asymmetry and have lectured on this both in the UK and abroad.  I teach the technique on the Royal College of Surgeons Speciality Skills Course, of which I am a regular faculty member.

I have recently been involved in the RCS work around standards in cosmetic surgery following the PIP scandal, and have helped to produce patient information on cosmetic breast procedures for NHS Choices.

I am a member of the Association of Breast Surgeons and Women in Surgery.
