I am a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist specialising in the management of benign gynaecological conditions and minimally invasive surgery.
My area of expertise includes menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, postmenopausal problems, laparoscopy surgery, and hysteroscopy surgery.
I obtained my Medical School Training from the University of Dundee, Scotland in 2009. Since then, I have undergone specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within the North West Deanery and completed the Advanced Training Skills Module in Benign Abdominal Surgery. In 2019, I was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Currently, I serve as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
During my career, I have held significant roles such as Audit and Mortality Lead in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Presently, I am honoured to serve as the College Tutor and Speciality Training Lead in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the same institution.
I am a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists RCOG and the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy BSGE.
Additionally, I contribute as a faculty member of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy Surgery - Registrar in Gynaecological Surgery Hub (BSGE-RIGS). In this role, I provide regular training to junior doctors in the field of minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.
