Mr Radford is a very experienced cataract and eyelid surgeon with over 18 years experience. He has performed thousands of cataract and eyelid operations. He offers all patients friendly, personal and individualised care, which for many results in spectacle free sight for both distance and reading vision after cataract surgery.
Mr Radford has been a lecturer and trainer nationally in the field of glaucoma. He has been trained and subspecialised in complex eyelid surgery including reconstructive surgery. Mr Radford was educated in Poulton-le-Fylde before going onto Manchester University to qualify in Medicine. Thereafter he had a diverse training in General Medicine and Haematology before going onto specialise in Eye Medicine. He finished his training in Manchester specialising in Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery. He was appointed Consultant at Preston Royal 2004 where he has been clinical and governance lead. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer, teaching diverse subjects including patient safety and communication.

I live locally near my immediate family. I enjoy water sports of all kinds and am a Day Skipper with RYA. I'm a swimmer, previously taking part in competitive events. Other interests include art, cooking and enjoying the Lake District. I also have a keen interest and enjoyment of rugby.
