I am a Consultant Urologist since 1995. I qualified in Poland at Pomeranian Medical Academy in Szczecin in 1980. My entire post graduate training was undertaken at Johannesburg Teaching Hospitals (1984-1991) and then in Leeds Teaching Hospitals (1992-1994). I worked from 1994-1995 in Hull, after which I undertook my first consultant's post in Calderdale, at the Royal Halifax Infirmary (1995).

My areas of interest include prostate disease including prostate cancer; prostate surgery, urinary tract disorders; renal cancer; oncology; bladder cancer; testis cancer; male fertility/infertility and assisted conception; renal stone disease; erectile dysfunction; vasectomy; penile disorders including circumcision.

While working for the Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust I was the lead clinician for Urology, and then for a period of six years, I was a clinical director for general and specialist surgery. Since 1997, together with Mr Martin DeBono Consultant Gynaecologist, I have been participating in running a joint Male Fertility Clinic at the Assisted Conception Unit / Yorkshire Fertility.

I am a trainer in Urology and have been a faculty member at the yearly Urology Simulation Boot Camp in Leeds since 2015. Since 1998 I have been a trainer in Urology across the West Yorkshire region to which 20 consultant Urologists still continue to practice. I was an Educational Supervisor and a member of the Specialty Training Committee in Urology for over 10 years.
