I qualified in medicine at the University of London and hold the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh. I also have a Specialist Fellowship in plastic surgery and I am on the GMC specialist register. I have a special interest in cosmetic breast surgery and abdominal surgery.

I was appointed Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Calderdale NHS Foundation Trust in 1993 and specialise in breast reconstruction in the NHS. I have also been in private practice at Spire Elland Hospital in cosmetic surgery since then.
