Professional profile

Ophthalmology has been a passion of mine for over a decade. I feel privileged to work in a branch of medicine that has constantly innovated and evolved and now has an array of successful life-changing treatment options for patients. My training has been extensive and I have actively sought training in the most advanced, successful and safest forms of surgery. I am one of a handful of surgeons who is fellowship trained in treating both corneal disorders and glaucoma. My practice of medicine has always had a firm emphasis on a patient centred approach. I value taking the time to ensure you are fully informed of your condition, of all the available treatment options and their relative risks and benefits. This is vital in making the correct choice for something as precious as your sight.

Personal Profile

I was born in West Yorkshire but spent most of my formative years in Harare, Zimbabwe. I returned in my early teens to attend Batley Grammar School and am now happily settled with my family in Huddersfield. Fishing, fell-walking and football are the pastimes I enjoy most.
