Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Ian Beggs at Spire include:
Musculoskeletal imaging
I am Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and Spire Murrayfield Hospital in full-time musculoskeletal practice. I deal with the full spectrum of musculoskeletal problems including spine, joints, bones, soft tissue and sports injuries. My interests include virtually all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging (except DEXA scanning) including plains films, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, CT and MRI. I perform a wide range of conventional, CT and MR arthrograms and image-guided therapeutic injections e.g. for frozen shoulder, impingement, calcific tendinitis, tendinosis at other sites and Morton's neuroma. I am happy to advise on imaging of musculoskeletal problems.
