I trained in anaesthesia and pain medicine in London completing my specialist training in 2004. From 2002-2003 I trained at St Mary's Hospital London in the role of Clinical Pain Fellow.

In 2008 I was awarded an inaugural fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine Royal College of Anaesthetists.

I am a member of the British Pain Society and North British Pain Association and have a qualification from the British Medical Acupuncture Society.

I am part of a multidisciplinary team in the Lothian Chronic Pain Service working in outpatient clinics and interventional procedures under ultrasound and X-ray guidance.
