I qualified in 1991 after completing my medical degree at University College, London. I commenced my early post-graduate training at St Thomas Hospital in London. I then completed full speciality ophthalmic training in London at The Western Eye Hospital (St Marys), St George's Hospital, St Thomas Hospital, and Moorfields.
I have a specialist interest in cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses, including multifocal and astigmatic implants. I have an extensive experience in refractive lens exchange procedures. In addition, I have a large general ophthalmology practice, managing a large variety of ophthalmic conditions including glaucoma, ocular infection, inflammation and chalazion.

Mr Greenwood is married with two children, his wife also practising medicine as a General Practitioner. He has a particular interest in patents and inventions in the medical field. Mr Greenwood enjoys foreign travel, ski-ing and also has an interest in vintage cars.Back to top
