What is weight loss surgery?
Weight loss surgery, also known as bariatric surgery, can help you lose weight when diet and exercise alone haven't worked. There are different types of surgery, but they all restrict the amount of food you can eat and/or reduce the amount of food you can absorb.
Why choose Spire Cheshire?
At Spire Cheshire Hospital we have a reputation for high quality clinical care and experience. With us you can be sure you’re in great hands. We know having weight loss surgery is a big decision and there’s a lot you’ll want to consider. We’re here to give you all the information you need to make the choice that’s right for you.
What will happen at the event?
Our highly qualified weight loss surgeon Mr Bart Decadt will give you an insight into weight loss surgery, the expected results and what to expect after surgery. There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions during and after the presentations. Our bariatric nurse and dietitian will also give a short presentation on diet/lifestyle changes and pre-/post-operation support.
