Fantastic 2014 PLACE Audit Results for Spire Cheshire Hospital

01 September 2014

The Patient-Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) audit results for 2014 have now been published.

PLACE is a system introduced by the NHS that assesses the quality of the patient environment. It applies to hospitals, hospices and day treatment centres providing NHS funded care.

The assessments see local people go into hospitals as part of teams to assess how the environment supports patient’s privacy and dignity, food, cleanliness and general building maintenance.
