I have been in shoulder and elbow practise for over 20 years. I carry out in the region of over 300 shoulder and elbow surgeries per annum. I have developed safe and reproducible arthroscopic (camera) procedures to treat sporting injuries of the shoulder and the elbow. I also perform over 30 shoulder replacement procedures per annum, including the new reverse polarity shoulder. I have a large experience in elbow arthroscopic procedures for tennis elbow, loose body and degenerative (stiff) elbows.
I specialise in the surgical treatment of shoulder and elbow conditions. I treat sport related injuries, trauma, and degenerative (arthritis) conditions. My expertise is in arthroscopic (camera) surgery to minimise tissue damage and to aid fast and pain free recovery.
Around 90% of the procedures I perform each year are undertaken using arthroscopic (camera) techniques.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Henry Casserly at Spire include:
Shoulder and MSK ultrasound, shoulder manipulation, subtalar arthroscopy, image guided joint injections, tennis elbow release, shoulder decompression - key hole surgery and shoulder stabilisation, hydrodistention.
