I am a fully qualified general practitioner and member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. I don't see medicine as a job, but as a genuine vocation. I believe putting my patients' health and welfare at the forefront of my practice and always treat patients as individuals and in a manner I would want my family to be treated.

I have experience in many specialist areas including paediatrics, surgery, medicine, woman's health and mental health. I have also worked with elite sports people as a club doctor for a professional football club.

As a general practitioner I have an interest in all aspects of medicine however, it is a human being who consults with me and not a disease - as such I like to take the time to listen to my patients' stories and their concerns. In doing so I can provide an holistic approach to your general wellbeing and health so together we can find solutions. I am always pleased to meet any individual whether it is regarding a short term acute or a long term chronic problem. I do have particular interests in those individuals who are experiencing unexplained symptoms, mental health issues, men's health, obesity and cardiovascular risk reduction or those people who are suffering with chronic fatigue and feeling tired all the time.

Most problems can be discussed and my initial opinion given within a standard 30 minute consultation. However, I would advise if you are experiencing a complex problem, such as chronic / long term unexplained symptoms or tiredness, that a one hour consultation is advised in the first instance - to allow us the time to cover the social, psychological and physical aspect of your problems and my opinion to be provided. I work within the NHS on a regular basis at Waters Edge Medical Centre in Middlewich.
