I am a consultant oncologist specialising in breast and urological (prostate and bladder) cancers. I am based at the Clatterbridge centre for oncology and have NHS clinics there and at Warrington and Halton Hospitals. I am a member of the multidisciplinary teams for breast cancer at Warrington and Halton, and urology at both Warrington and Halton and Arrowe Park Hospitals.
My specialist training was at The Christie, Manchester and my clinical research fellowship was at the University of Toronto's department of radiation oncology at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto.
My private practice mirrors my NHS practice: I treat patients with breast, prostate and bladder cancers with chemotherapy, hormone therapy and radiotherapy. I also use radiotherapy to palliate symptoms from cancer and for the treatment of skin cancers.

Personal profile
After medical school and post graduate training in different parts of the country I was delighted to return to, and settle down in the North West. My family and I live in Manchester and we have three boys under the age of seven and therefore much of my time is spent taking them to football, swimming, music etc. When there is time left over for the adults we like to have our own active social life, I try to keep fit by running and cycling and I still have a season ticket for my hometown rugby team.
