I have been an Orthopaedic Surgeon for 10 years and my advanced specialist training includes a 1-year fellowship at Flinders University Hospital and Sportsmed Hospitals Adelaide. I am a trainer for Orthopaedic Surgeons and maintain and provide up-to-date surgical techniques and treatments.

I specialise in surgery for all shoulder conditions including key hole (arthroscopic) surgery, rotator cuff/impingement, instability, arthritis, sports injuries, frozen shoulder and fractures. I also treat elbow conditions such as Tennis/Golfers elbow and nerve compressions.

I grew up in Neath, qualified from Cardiff’s University of Wales College of Medicine in 1997 and completed my basic surgical training in South Wales. My higher surgical training was in the Midlands with my sub speciality training at the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire renowned orthopaedic department. In 2009-10 I furthered this speciality training with a year long Shoulder and Upper Limb Surgery Fellowship in Adelaide, Australia. It was always my intention to be a Consultant in South Wales. On my return from Fellowship I was appointed to the Royal Glamorgan Hospital as Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialist interest in Shoulder and Upper Limb Surgery.
