Specialises in

I qualified from Leeds University Medical School in 1983, and returned to Wales to join the Bridgend GP Vocational Training Scheme in 1984. I joined the practice in my home village of Caerau, Maesteg as a partner in 1987, where I remained until 2003 before becoming a portfolio GP, Welsh Secretary of the British Medical Association and more recently the National Lead for Primary Care Services in Wales to the NHS and Welsh Government until 2019.

I have been a GP in Wales for over 30 years providing a full complement of General Practice services within the Primary Healthcare Team, in a variety of clinical settings. I have gained specific experience and interest in emergency medicine, general medicine, psychiatry and musculoskeletal disorders. I believe in providing a holistic approach to high-quality family medicine to both adults and children.

I look to provide traditional, holistic, high quality and personal general practitioner services through a familiar and trusted doctor/patient consultation with access to comprehensive, modern and timely diagnostic and specialist support services as necessary.
