Penile angiogram, penile angioplasty, cardiac angioplasty, heart failure, chest pain, atrial fibrillation, hypertension, Interventional cardiology, percutaneous intervention, radial angiogram and angioplasty, rotablation, cardiovascular risk, valvular heart disease.
I have been a consultant cardiologist for over 18 years and an interventional cardiologist for over 12 years. I carried out my initial medical training at University College Hospital London. My senior house officer training was initially in London and in the Yorkshire region. I obtained my London MD in the genetics of coronary artery disease with research interests in inflammation, infection and coronary artery disease. As an Interventional Cardiologist, I have led and introduced complex interventions and have provided several aspects of interventions in Wales, including the Radial Approach, Rotational Atherectomy, the use of lasers in cardiology interventions, and various aspects dealing with Chronic Total Occlusions.
As the Clinical Lead for the Chest Pain Service for Cardiff and Vale Trust and have led several projects on the primary - secondary care interface. As an Interventional Cardiologist, I have led and introduced complex interventions and have provided several aspects of interventions in Wales, including the Radial Approach, Rotational Atherectomy, the use of lasers in cardiology interventions, and various aspects dealing with Chronic Total Occlusions.
I currently sit on the MAC committee at Spire Cardiff Hospital.

Since August 2008, we have run an Erectile Dysfunction Clinic, seeing the full range of ED problems
with a particular interest in patients with cardiovascular disease. I have been invited by several groups
to give lectures in the field both locally and nationally and internationally. I was part of a National
Forum to put together a tool kit that looks at all aspects of erectile dysfunction. I liaised with the group
that performed the ZEN trial to parallel nest my patients. I performed the first Pudendal stent in Europe.
This was published in the European Heart Journal as an Editorial in 2012.
