I have been a Consultant Haematologist for 16 years specialising in the myeloid malignancies. I have contributed to writing the current UK guidelines for acute myeloid leukaemia and myelodysplasia and have wide-ranging clinical trial experience giving me insight into new and innovative treatment options.

I am particularly interested in acute myeloid leukaemia, myelodysplasia, myeloproliferative neoplasms, chronic myeloid leukaemia and haemochromatosis.

Until recently, I was Clinical Director for Haematology and Clinical Immunology at the University Hospital of Wales.
