Dr Gneeta Joshi
Hons.BSc. MBBS, MRCGP, PGDD
I am GP with 19 years of medical experience and I have experience within the private sector for approximately 10 years. My academic career started in Canada and ended in the United Kingdom. I have been living in Cardiff with my family for 18 years.
The Spire Private GP clinics have allowed me to have longer consultation times which has been a positive experience both for myself and my patients.
My specialist interests include diabetes, women's health, psychiatry, general medicine, health promotion, clinical governance and medical education. During my postgraduate GP training, I completed jobs in Cardiology, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Accident and Emergency, Paediatrics (including Neonates), Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Psychiatry.
Please note that there are certain services that without access to NHS medical records, I would not be able to provide. For example - Prescribing of controlled drugs, cancer drugs, unlicensed prescribing, anti-coagulation or any medication requiring consultant-level input, NHS medication reviews or changing medication that has been initiated and monitored by your NHS GP, chronic disease management requiring regular NHS monitoring, drug or alcohol detox, travel or childhood vaccinations, acute psychiatric emergencies, cancer or palliative care.
