I see and treat all conditions in Paediatric ENT including (intracapsular) tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, grommet insertion, diagnostic and therapeutic airway procedures, neck lump removal. I also provide assessment and treatment of general ENT conditions in adults.

I qualified from the University of Nottingham Medical School in 2007 having completed a Bachelor of Medical Sciences in 2005. My surgical training took place in hospitals within East Anglia and the South East, completing a Masters in Medical Education alongside national research studies.

In 2016/17 I undertook an advanced fellowship in otology and implant surgery at the prestigious Addenbrooke’s otology department and then specialised in complex children’s ENT surgery during a years senior fellowship with the ENT department of Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

I joined Addenbrooke’s as a substantive consultant in 2018. My NHS practice focuses on the treatment of children with airway, head and neck and hearing conditions. Having trained in general ENT, I also treat a range of general ENT conditions in both adults and children.

I am a keen trainer and lead the ENT registrar training programme at Addenbrooke’s hospital as a member of the East of England surgical training committee. I am also active in training GP trainees alongside the medical students at Cambridge medical school. In my role as lead of paediatric ENT audit I strive to improve the care for patients by engaging in quality improvement projects.

As a member of the paediatric oncology Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) I assesses and treat children with symptoms of cancer within the head and neck. In addition, as a member of the Addenbrooke’s children’s hearing loss MDT, I work with a multidisciplinary team to investigate and manage children with congenital and acquired hearing loss.
