Ms Alero Awala has a master's degree in reproductive medicine (awarded by the University of Bristol) and she completed the infertilty modules awarded by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She has worked in all areas of reproductive healthcare including fertility and recurrent miscarriage investigations, surgery and management, management of gynaecological problems affecting teenagers and problems encountered in the menopause. She also specialises in helping patients with menstrual problems and pelvic pain.
As a female gynaecologist, Ms Awala is able to offer a holistic and sympathetic approach to all her patients, and especially teenagers, who require a very sensitive approach to their care. Ms Awala undertakes private obstetric care, viability, dating and growth scans. She offers full antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care. Ms Awala can refer to private postnatal midwives and private paediatricians if required. Ms Awala is also an experienced laparoscopic surgeon and performs a large number of operations for different benign gynaecological conditions.
