We are pleased to announce that we have made a number of changes to our Business Development team. The department, which is responsible for the hospital events, marketing, promotion of our treatments, GP liaison and self-pay patient enquiries is now headed up by Business Development Manager, Sabiha Waraich. Sabiha has an abundance of healthcare industry knowledge and with over 15 years’ experience in marketing and business development she will be a corner stone and a pinnacle leader for the newly revamped team.
Further changes include employing Sam Harrison as the new Marketing Executive for the Hospital. Sam has several years’ experience in marketing. He is responsible for all marketing activities including our website, social media, advertisement, PR communication and marketing literature. We are also thrilled to welcome, Ruth Povey, back to the Hospital. Ruth returns after 2 years away and from travelling in Australia. She takes back the reins of our events organisation and GP education seminars.
Speaking with the new Business Development Manager she expresses the excitement of a new challenge.
“Coming into any new job can be challenging but having a new team in place allows the Hospital and me the opportunity to drive the business forward. I relish this opportunity and cannot wait to get started.”
This year we have also doubled the number of private patient sales executives to support our GP practices and self-pay patients when booking an appointment or making an enquiry. In addition to these new recruits the hospital has repositioned Pricing Coordinator, Edmond Price under the same department to allow for a more efficient working environment.
“The existing private patient sales executives, cosmetic nurses and GP liaison have been doing an incredible job. Their knowledge is invaluable and I am confident, along with the new recruits that our department can be a real asset to the Spire Bristol Hospital” continues Sabiha.
We differ from many other private healthcare providers in the country, and are the only independent hospital in the South West with the ability to undertake highly complex and advanced surgery. This is due to having a fully equipped intensive care unit which provides expert nurse care for patients who have had brain, spine and/or heart surgery, including all other major complex surgery. We wish Sabiha and her team well with settling in and with promoting such incredible facilities and a vast range of treatments.
