Venue: Aztec Hotel & Spa, Almondsbury, BS32 4TS

Spire Bristol Hospital is inviting local Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Pharmacists and all other clinical practice staff to an afternoon of education at the Aztec Hotel. The event will see Bristol based Consultant Clinicians present and discuss topics surrounding a variety of specialities. There will also be an opportunity for individuals to ask questions surrounding the consultant’s field of expertise.

The educational afternoon will provide attendees with the equivalent of three hours continuing professional development (CPD) credits and the event is completely free to attend.

Ruth Povey, Primary Care Liaison at Spire Bristol Hospital, speaks more about what you can expect:

“This is the second year we have run an event of this nature and we plan to do another towards the end of this year. This afternoon will provide a great opportunity for any medical staff within a GP practice to gain valuable educational experience from some of the region’s leading consultants.”

The event will see four consultant speakers who will each talk for 45 minutes on their topic of choice. The programme for the day has been set based on the feedback we received from attendees last year.

“Our experienced consultant speakers will cover a variety of specialities including cardiology, ENT (ear, nose and throat), back pain and gynaecology. Each attendee will receive a certificate of attendance with relevant reflection pages required for appraisal and revalidation.” added Ruth.

You can download a full agenda of the afternoon here.

If you are interested in booking a place at the event we invite you to do so by calling Ruth on 0117 980 4023 or alternatively you can send your name, title and practice name to
