Professional profile

I have been a consultant clinical oncologist for three years. I am trained and qualified to deliver advanced and precise radiotherapy techniques including intensity modulated radiotherapy, proton beam therapy and image guided radiotherapy.

I specialise in combining chemotherapy with radiotherapy treatments including high dose treatments given to cure oesophageal and head and neck cancers.

I treat cancers arising from the oesophagus, stomach/gastric (including gastrointestinal stromal tumours- GIST), pancreas, liver, gall ducts/bladder, larynx, tonsil, tongue, palate, neck, parotid, salivary ducts.

My range of treatments including immunotherapy, combination chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other agents.

I specialise in combining chemotherapy with radiotherapy treatments including high dose treatments given to cure oesophageal and head and neck cancers.

I perform over 30 oesophageal chemotherapy and radiotherapy combinations/ 80 head and neck chemotherapy and radiotherapy combinations per year. I treat over 150 oesophageal/ stomach(gastric)/ pancreas/ liver/ gall bladder/ gall ductal cancers with high dose chemotherapy per year. I treat over 20 larynx/tongue/tonsil/salivary ducts/parotid cancers with chemotherapy per year. I have treated patients with advanced cancers with immunotherapy as well.

I am a Clinical Radiation Expert working for Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to assess safety and acceptability of clinical studies/experimental treatments for cancer patients.
