I am a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol, and Hon Senior Clinical Lecturer in Radiology at the University of Bristol. My private practice base is at Spire Bristol Hospital, The Glen.
I am involved in teaching of undergraduates, hospital doctors and trainee radiologists and radiographers and am invited to lecture various other specialty medical groups and sub-specialty practitioners.
I specialised in all areas of musculoskeletal radiology including bones and joints, spine and soft tissue imaging using fluoroscopy, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography and ultrasound. I also undertake a range of musculoskeletal interventions and therapeutic procedures such as biopsies, joint therapeutic injections and facet and nerve root blocks using various imaging modalities.
My particular areas of expertise include sports medicine imaging and therapeutic injection procedures. I deal with footballers, rugby players, hockey players, golfers and players in other sports.

Spire Bristol Hospital is only able to provide Covid-19 tests to patients undergoing surgery at our hospital. Covid-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service.

My main interest is cycling of whatever form, but mainly off road and mountain biking. Also. I spend as much spare time as possible in Cornwall, Port Isaac and enjoy sea kayaking and coastal hiking on foot.
