I have special expertise in managing disorders of the menopause including bespoke BHRT, severe endometriosis. I am a fully accredited colposcopist. I maintain surgical competency in the management of all aspects of benign gynaecology including uterovaginal prolapse and urinary incontinence. I am keen to promote all aspects of women's reproductive health and I am also committed to the conservative management of menstrual disorders and pelvic pain.
I graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. I received the bulk of my postgraduate training at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals in London.

Professor Ahmed is an avid follower of rugby and football. He enjoys skiing and is an advanced scuba diver. He is a keen theatre goer but his greatest passion is spending quality time with his young son and daughter.
