Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Laurence Newman at Spire include:
I studied both dentistry and medicine at the London Hospital Medical College University of London, qualifying as a dentist in 1981 and as a doctor in 1990. Following training as a Senior Registrar at The Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, I was appointment as a consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and University College Hospital London in 1997. I returned to East Grinstead to take up an NHS Consultant post in September 2008. I am fascinated by law and it's interaction with medicine. I am currently a part-time postgraduate student at Cardiff University studying for an LLM in the legal aspects of medical practice.
During my time I have developed expertise in the management of benign and malignant conditions of the head and neck both in children and adults. I treat patients across the entire spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgery and have developed particular interest in salivary gland surgery.
