I qualified from Leeds University and trained in ophthalmology in Leeds, Southampton, Liverpool and Moorfields, London. During this time, I acquired extensive experience in all aspects of ophthalmology. I have been a consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust since 2000.
In addition to providing a general ophthalmology service, I also has special interests in small incision cataract surgery, retinal diseases, diabetic retinopathy and laser treatment. I currently leads the macular disease service for Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and I provide a tertiary referral service for photodynamic therapy for macular degeneration for the Kent region.
