I trained in the Oxford region and the South West rotation CCST 2005. I gained out of programme experience at Royal Brompton Hospital London in interventional bronchoscopy in 2003 to 2004. I completed a fellowship in Lille, France for interventional bronchoscopy and medical thoracoscopy in 2005. I was the locum chest consultant at the Royal London and the London Chest Hospital from 2005 to 2006 and have been the consultant general and respiratory physician in Maidstone Hospital since 2006 .In 2008, I also completed a fellowship at the Royal College of Physicians and American College of Chest Physicians.
I have experience in research, papers and publications on COPD, endobronchial stents, ventilator associated pneumonia's. Dr Husain has specialist experience in sleep medicine, NIV, ILD, Asbestosis, pleura effusion and medical thoracoscopy. nterventional bronchoscopy-cryotherapy/TBNA lymph node biopsy.
