Return to play

Is a player ready to return to competitive action? Perform can help make the answer clearer

How do you know if someone is really ready to return to competitive sport? Whether the question is in relation to yourself, or you are a club physiotherpaist and the question relates to your star player the answer is not always immediately clear. In either situation the consequences of sending someone back to action too soon can be very costly.

Perform at St. George's Park can help you make a better informed decision about the timing of a player's return to play. Our world class Sports Science team working in our British Association of Sports & Exercise Science accredited Human Performance Lab, can provide a comprehensive report on a player's condition and identify any areas of concern that could lead to further injury if exposed to the rigours of competitive action before being addressed.

We have supported clubs from the Premier League through to the Championship and League 1 including Crystal Palace’s Yannick Bolasie, Nottingham Forest’s Chris Cohen and Crewe Alexandra’s Harry Davis to name a few.
