Player conditioning plan

The Player Conditioning Plan offers state of the art facilities and top level expertise to meet the fitness needs of the professional player

The Perform Sports Science team are experts in supporting elite sportsmen and women in reaching optimal conditioning to enable them to compete at their peak, and allow them to unlock all of their performance potential.

We are offering individual and group functional training sessions that can adhere to the current club's or individual's conditioning programme to allow for suitable and deliberate progression in:

  • Stength & conditioning
  • Physiology
  • Recovery
  • Nutrition & hydration

The Player conditioning plan is ideal for players not travelling with the squad that require a 'top-up'; returning to competition from long term injury; requiring supplementary training to improve fitness; or looking to maintain fitness in preparation for a tournament. Please note PCP is not suitable for anyone carrying a pre-existing injury or still rehabilitating from injury.

Facilities include:

Altitude Chamber - Heat and altitude exposure allowing for accelerated adaptation to exercise stimulus.

Hydrotherapy Suite - VarioPool with adjustable floor, underwater treadmill with cameras, hot and cold plunge pools to allow for conditioning under reduced load and promote recovery from intense exercise.

Strength & Conditioning Gym - Olympic platforms and functional training equipment geared at optimising sport specific strength and power development.

60m Running Track - Designated area for developing running mechanics, deceleration and speed.

Both hourly sessional and daily residential packages are available with player's able to to stay overnight at the on site Hilton hotel.

 

We offer both residential and hourly sessional packages, with athletes able to stay overnight at the onsite Hilton Hotel accomodation. Please note any accomodation costs are not included in PCP package prices and will be charged separately through the hotel.

  • Hydrotherapy and recovery support
  • Replication of full training week

 

Sessional prices start from £50/hour.
