Around 12-15 years ago Mr Parmar replaced both my knees and his professionalism and quality of work stuck in my mind. I had a hip replacement two years ago at a different hospital and this didn’t go so well, the replacement didn’t adhere and this left me totally unstable. So around eight weeks ago I came back to Spire Harpenden Hospital to have an operation on my right hip and the replacement was brilliant. Then three weeks ago I came back to have my left hip replacement, once again this went well and I’m glad to say my recovery is going smoothly.
Mr Parmar was the perfect consultant, he answered any questions and concerns I had and there was no doubt he’d do a great job.
The hospital staff were all brilliant too, every single person was very kind and the level of care was fantastic. I was so pleased with my experience that when it came to me leaving I was actually quite sad!
My discharge process was fine, there was a small hiccup with the medication which made the discharge slightly late, but these things happen.
Overall, I was very pleased with my experience at Spire Harpenden Hospital and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to friends and family.
