My husband and I have had operations and treatment in the past few years at Spire Harpenden Hospital, and the treatment has been excellent. The staff - of all ranks and departments - have been most helpful, attentive, and extremely polite and friendly. It certainly makes a procedure less of an ordeal knowing that you are going to be looked after in a very caring manner.
My Consultant Mr Roux had a very relaxed friendly approach and made every effort to ensure I understood the procedure. He explained in detail what was causing the problems I had. He outlined the possible problems I might have if the procedure was not entirely successful, or if further treatment was necessary and was very reassuring about the outcome. I was very relaxed with his explanations and confident of a successful result.
The whole visit was handled very professionally by everyone with whom I came in contact and I could not have asked for better.
