I went to see Mr Jagmohan Chawla for my cataract surgery following the reviews that I had read on this site and a recommendation. I was so nervous at the thought of having eye surgery, particularly as one of my eyes had scarring from childhood, so I knew it wouldn’t be a straight forward procedure.
From the first consultation I was soon put at ease by Mr Chawla and his assistant nurse Jenny. On both days of my surgery I was naturally nervous but felt reassured by Mr Chawla and Jenny. The anaesthetist and the team at Spire Hartswood Hospital were so kind, efficient and helpful. Following both surgeries Jenny contacted me with a follow-up call (which I wasn’t expecting) - this was such a great service, particularly as I live on my own.
My second surgery wasn’t as straight forward as expected (due to my childhood scarring), once again Mr Chawla, Jenny and his team were absolutely amazing - holding my hand and reassuring me during the entire procedure. Jenny had again contacted me after the procedure with a follow up call.
I would like to thank Mr Chawla, Jenny and his team. My eyesight is now amazing, the colours and clarity are astounding. I don’t remember the last time I could actually see like this. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Mr Chawla. Thank you so much.
