I spoke to Ellie (in the self-funding team) regarding seeing a specialist who could help me with my eye problem!
Ellie booked me in with Mr Karia (a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon) who examined my eye and gave me a prescription for eye drops. These are helping, but in the meantime I have received an appointment at Southend. Unfortunately I’m not in a position to continue private funding, but would dearly have loved to continue my treatment at the Wellesley Hospital.
I have also spoken to a lady called Debbie for another problem and found these two ladies exceptionally kind and helpful. Thank you.
