My son has just had grommet surgery today. Exceptional care on every level. From the lady who organised his food and drink to the porter that collected his bed - every single staff member had a kind word and smile for my son. At no point did he ever get upset or distressed. A special mention to Femi, his nurse, who was phenomenal with him, as was his anaesthetist Claire. He left feeling like a super hero. For the hospital he was one of thousands of children they must treat each year - but he is 1 of 1 for us, and the fact they treated him as such meant more than I can say.
