I qualified from Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham in 1988 and initially worked in Manchester for three years, before moving to Southend and Rochford Hospitals in 1991.
After two years I joined the Wellesley Hospital in 1993 as a senior physiotherapist, specialising in musculo-skeletal problems. I also trained in vestibular rehabilitation in Edinburgh in 2006.
I am married with three daughters. In my spare time I am an accomplished pianist and have also written music for young singers. I am a keen sportsman: mainly running, having completed the Birmingham to London 'Grand Union Canal' race (145 miles) on three occasions. I have also completed the Ironman Triathlon.Back to top
