I have been a Consultant Neurologist since 2010 and do general and specialist clinics at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (University Hospital), Birmingham. My special interests are mainly in neuroimmunology (interaction of the immune and nervous systems) and neuromuscular diseases for which I have two specialist clinics per week.

I see all aspects of general neurology from headaches, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease and memory problems, in addition to my special interest in neuromuscular and neuroimmunological diseases.

I was the clinical lead for Neurology at the University Hospitals Birmingham, from 2013 to 2021.

I am an Honorary Professor at the institute of Immunology and Immunotherapy (University of Birmingham) and hold an active academic/research interest in neuroimmunology.
