I have been a Registered Dietitian for 27 years and I am now a Specialist in Bariatrics/Weight Management. I am an expert in nutrition and mind set coaching post bariatric surgery. I have an extended role as a NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) Practitioner and Interventional Dietitian, assessing and adjusting gastric bands with or without the use of x-ray guidance.
As a freelance dietitian I provide additional specialist support for complex patients and those struggling to lose weight post bariatric surgery, using both CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and NLP practitioner skills. I have a specialist interest in food intolerances and gut microbiome post bariatric surgery giving me a high degree of experience with complex patients.
I specialise in both bariatric and weight management patients, with a specific interest in patients struggling to lose weight and those developing food intolerances after bariatric surgery.

I am passionate about transforming lives after Bariatric surgery through nutrition and mind set coaching. I am well versed in recent advancements in Bariatric surgery and enjoy researching the gut brain axis and gut microbiome. Losing weight is challenging, it’s not what you eat it’s more about “WHY you eat!
Outside of work, I have two teenagers that enjoy consuming my time. I’m very much into fitness and attend the gym most mornings to keep both mentally and physically fit. I live by the 80:20 rule. This means 80% of the time I aim to eat and drink well, and that allows me 20% to be more relaxed about what I have and not deprive myself of anything. When combining this with a regular exercise routine it allows me to keep my weight steady and also feel good whist enjoying what I eat.Back to top
